Hello,
I would like to add a file .lib which contain 4 new model elements to pspice but I don't know how to do, can you help me?
I have found just how to do on Orcad capture but I want to do that in Pspice schematic.
Thanks
Default PSpice libraries are in CDSROOT\Tools\PSpice\library.
I recommend you to save your new pspice libraries in other directory rather than in the installation one.
Once you have the .lib (PSpice models), you have to generate the symbol (OLB) you want to place in Capture. You already did it using Model Editor. Once this is done, to place such components in your design, you have to brose in Place Part the OLB libraries you need.
Then, when you define a simulation profile, you have to browse the .lib libraries before you simulate.
actually I have the file lib and the file olb in pspice/userlib but I can see this file only browsing from Capture, if I go in this directory on my laptop I can't see any file, how it is possible? (No hidden elements)
Anyway, when I click on Place Part I can see just these library abm.slb, analog.slb, analog_p.slb, breakout.slb, eval.slb, port.slb, source.slb, sourcstm.slb, special.slb and I can't browse.
The simplest way is to take advantage of the *.lib library file available in Pspice (eg bipolar. lib library ==> BJT), then change the technical parameters to suit the flexible code. the event krunker that needs to be simulated (before doing this, remember to backup the *.lib library file, after simulating and hooking up, restore the original library file for PSpice). tetris unblocked
To add a new .lib file containing 4 model elements to PSpice, follow these steps:
- Open PSpice and create a new mockup
slither io or open an existing mockup.
- Select "File" and then select "Import" to open the "Import" dialog box.
- Find the new .lib file and select it, then select "Open" to open the .lib file.
- At the Import Library Files window, select all the new model elements listed and then select "Add to Library" to add them to your library.
- Once new model elements have been added to your library, you can use them in your simulation by selecting them from the list of available elements in your library.
Maybe it's because I keep the new pspice libraries in the easiest to find sections that the installation is easy. If you have trouble, you can look in CDSROOT\Tools\PSpice\library Drift Boss

Impressive post Lol beans. I thought this excessively technical. This is precisely what I was searching for. I highly encourage that you continue to provide this type of information Spanish dictionary. If feasible, I express my gratitude.
Default libraries are in the C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice\library
You might want to copy/paste your file there. After that in one of your project Simulation Profiles, you should go to the Library in Category.
Then add the livrary using the browse button.
I believe you will also need the olb file as well, do you have it?
I have obtain the olb file doing some strange things on PSpice Model Editor, what I have to do with this file?
I think that default library are in C/programs/OrCad/Pspice/library and thare aren't file .lib here , they are plb or PSpice Schematics Symbol Library

I'm using Pspice 9.1 student versione
Wowww!! :0 :0 :0
Could you download please the last version? You can download the studen version under http://www.orcad.com/free-trial

It is essential to browse the .lib libraries before emulating and to configure fleeing the complex simulation.
Get the default library located in C/programs/OrCad/Pspice/library/Dynamons World to use
