[BUCK Design] - Frequency Response & transconductance amplifier

Hello everyone,

I'm designing a Buck Converter using the TPS54560 TI Converter.

In order to verify my calculations, I'd like to mesure the frequency response of the loop using PSPICE.

To do this, TI give the "Small Signal Model for Loop Response" on the datasheet (page 18).

This model is composed by two transconductance amplifiers.

Where can I find (librairy) this type of components ?

Is there any tip to simulated it ?

Other question, How to insert an image on my post ?

You can model error amplifier using an ideal voltage controlled current source. ideal voltage controlled current source is available in analog.olb and part name G. You can also find similar devices in ABM.olb.

You should be able to copy paste image directly in comment pane (Use HTML ediotr). I pasted an image below and I hope it shows up after submit.

Ok I've found the ideal voltage controlled current source :)

hereafter the Small Signal Model that I have to simule :

And the PSPICE schematic I've made :

Do you see any mistake on the PSPICE schematic ?

Thanks for your support,

Regards,

Anthony

Just verifying that you want to run an ac sweep. (Vac is in the circuit).

If you want to run a transient analysis, you would need a VSIN.

Hello Dan,

Yes, I want to run an AC sweep simulation.

I think there is a mistake in my PSpice Schematic, simulation results are not ok...

Anthony

Hello! did you find the error in that simulation? can it appear in the central division?

You can try looking for op-amp models such as "OTA" (Operational Transconductance Amplifier) or "VCCS" (Voltage-Controlled Current Source) models in your PSPICE library. These models should provide the necessary transconductance functionality for your simulation.

To simulate the small signal model using these components, you can connect the appropriate terminals of the op-amp models based on the connections specified in the TPS54560 datasheet's small signal model. Be sure to set the values of the transconductance amplifiers according to the values provided in the datasheet. mapquest driving directions

This amplifier design is complex. Thank you for this map!

You can model the transconductance amplifiers bloxd io using operational amplifiers with appropriate connections. In the small signal model, the transconductance amplifiers are represented as voltage-controlled current sources. You can use the high-precision op-amp models available in the PSPICE library.

Regarding inserting images into your posts, it depends on the platform

slope you are using. In many text editors and online forums, you often have an icon or option to insert an image.

It's a complicated amplifier Retro Bowl College design. I am appreciative of this map.

To insert an image in your post, you can use the markdown syntax. You can upload the image to a hosting platform or use an image hosting service, and then use the following syntax to insert the connections game image:

![Image Description](image_url)

Replace "Image Description" with a brief description of the image, and "image_url" with the URL of the image you want to insert.

How can the error amplifier be modeled using an ideal voltage-controlled current source, and where can you find this component in the libraries analog.olb and ABM.olb? Additionally, what is the recommended monopoly go method to include an image in the comment pane, and will the image display properly after submission?
