Error in using a TI model (ERROR: [S2C3471])

Hi,

I am trying to import a spice model from Texas Instruments. The model is from the IC INA213. I am following the instructions in appendix C of the pspug.pdf document. I download the model from the TI web page, unzip the file and obtain a .txt file. Next, I change the extension of the file from txt to MOD. I create a new folder named MyLibrary inside the folder C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice. I paste the file INA213.MOD in the folder C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice\MyLibrary. Then, from the menu in PSpice MODEL EDITOR, I choose Import and select  INA213.MOD. I save the the file INA213.lib in C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice\MyLibrary.

My problem is when I try to generate the OLB file. I go to Menu -> Export to Part Library and in "Enter input Model Library" I Introduce "C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice\MyLibrary\INA213.lib" and in "Enter Output part Library" I introduce "C:\Cadence\SPB_17.2\tools\pspice\MyLibrary\INA213.OLB". When I press OK I obtain the following error  "ERROR: [S2C3471] Base part library does not exist". Can someone Help me? thanks!

Hi,

I have followed your steps and I can generate the OLB library without any problem. Have you tried to save the LIB in other directory? Have you tried to generate the OLB with other components/libraries?

Regards

Yes, You should be able to declare a global variable using PARAM block and use this variable to define the value of the parameter on one of the instance, the one you would like to sweep.
