ideal Diode Parameters values

sir/mam,

i want to design an approximate ideal Diode in .CIR File .

in order to do so,i want to know its various parameters values;

like Reverse saturation current,Parasitic series resistance ,junction potential,Reverse breakdown “knee” voltage,....etc

so please provide the same

with thanks

I am not sure what you mean by "approximate ideal" diode. Please refer the PSpice reference guide - Diode topic to get the definition of various model parameters of diode. You can create a new model and set the values for various parameters as per your requirement or device specification,

Hi Alok,

i want to know Ideal Diode Parameters values;

for example:  Diode Model "D1N1190"  has its parameters values as:

D(Is=1.331u N=2.108 Rs=1.029m Ikf=11.73 Xti=3 Eg=1.11 Cjo=1p M=.5 Vj=.7 Fc=.5 Isr=40.74u Nr=2 Bv=400 Ibv=100u Tt=5n);

with thanks

Hello Sourav,

Whatever Alok had mentioned which makes a lot of sense in terms of understanding diode model.
I would recommend you not to search for meaning of Ideal diode & better thing is that change the diode parameters values according to your needs.

Thanks,
Janayya
