Use of Sine function

Hello Guys,

I am trying to simulate VCO behavior by using below equation.

Period = 1/(f0 +kv*Vctl)

Here f0 = 10E6 Hz

kv = 1 Hz/V,  for Vctl = 0V, Period = 100ns

How to use that 100ns in sine function & generate 10MHz sine waveform??

Your response in this regard would be highly appreciated!

Thank you, Janayya

Hi,

I do not completely understand your question. You have on one side the equation to be used for the VCO and then you want to generate a sin with Period=100ns. Did I understand well?

RGb,

No issues. Now I have figured out what I was seeking.
If I use the x = 1/period value in sin(2*3.142*x*time) then I will see the VCO frequency change wrt to Vctl.
Thank you for paying heed to my question!

Best Regards,
Janayya
