I am usimng windows 10 with 2 x UHD - they have different scaling as one is the laptop built in and one is 26".
While Orcad Capture Scales really well The Cadence Help is totally unusable. The structures and images are too small. CTRL+ or Zoom gets the main text OK but the menu's and contents list are too smal to use.
The same is true (to a slightly lesser extent) to the output window.
It seems ECAD tools and high resolution monitors should work together. Any tricks.
I saw some thing about updating some preferences but could not find ui\general and tbriconsize and do not know what packages they will effect.

I believe the main issue in this case is that you use different scaling on your monitors. Whenever the software starts, it adjusts to one of those DPI scalings only.
Try setting the same DPI scaling on both monitors.
Also, the setting you are refering to is for the PCB Editor - Setup - User Preferences - Ui - tbriconsize.

I tried it in the office where I have two UHD screens on windows 7 with equal scaling and the issue with Cadence Help is still there. Most of the content scales OK by just pressing Ctrl-+ but the document navigation window has microscopic text - as are the buttons/icons and menu items.
On the windows 10 system the embedded images (like images of dialogu boxes) did not scale with the ctrl-+
I would also like the know a solution to the icons and tool sizing issue as well. I am currently using a 1440p display and custom scaling does not change anyting on the Capture CIS.
