Why won't my BJT characteristic curve extend all the way ?

I don't get why my curve is not extending all the way, is there something i have to do in A/D?

I am tasked to put a vertical line at VCE = 6V and record all the intersection of the curve and the vertical line. However, I cannot do that if i cannot get them to intersect in the first place.

I am incredibly frustrated right now, thanks for any replies(helpful?)

Hi,

Could you share your design?

Regards

I would say that you likely have a 1k resistor connected to the collector and, therefore, once the collector current gets past 4mA, it is no longer possible for Vce to reach 6V with a 10V supply. Try a much smaller value for the collector resistor, like 10.

Sorry guys, i just figured it out, I had to tweak the beta value to get the desired graph.

Thanks anyway
