I'm trying to model a circuit with the LM13700 OTA, but when I try to place it I get the following error:
ERROR(ORCAP-2398): Cannot place 'LM13700' because the component is not available in the library 'C:/cds_spb_home/cdssetup/pspTILibDir/LM13700.olb'. Ensure that the component is present in the library.
I've tried to find this part online, but when I download it from the TI site it's a .mod file, which I think contains the code to model the component, but I can't find a schematic symbol for it.
Is this part supposed to be included or do I need to manually create it and somehow import the .mod file?

I get the same error that you do when trying to place the LM13700 using their PSpice Part Search tool. However, the part is in their library (pspTILibDir). Something isn't working in their search software. What worked for me is to use Place Part and add the library (LM13700.olb) to the list. Highlight that library and you'll see the part LM13700/NS in the parts list. Select the Place Part icon and the symbol will appear on your schematic linked to a placement pointer.
I have tried doing what you said, but I can't find a file called "LM13700.olb" anywhere on my computer. Did you have to download it from somewhere?
I'm using PSpice for TI version 17.4-2021-S007 which I recently updated to.
The folder pspTILibDir (C:/SPB_Data/cdssetup/pspTILibDir) contains all of the TI parts. It's a large folder but you should find a part library in it named LM13700.olb which contains one part: the LM13700/NS. Nearby is another file named LM13700.lib which contains the model for the LM13700/NS part. If you don't have these files you might have to update your version of the software.
