I am using a transformer in my power system design, and my purpose is to amplify the voltage by 25 times. It would be better if the transformer model takes energy loss into consideration. Which 2-port transformer part should I use?
The part I currently use is XFRM_NONLINEAR.Normal. I need to set L1_TURNS & L2_TURNS. I know that their ratio would decide the output voltage. Then how would these absolute values affect the result? For example what's the difference between 1:25 and 20:500?
The last problem is that the output voltage is much lower than expectation. Usually it's amplified by 10-15 times instead of 25 times. I have carefully control the ratio of input and output impedance to make them match, but the result is still unsatisfying.

XFRM_NONLINEAR model usages a magnetic core - Toroid 33/20/11 core using 2P90 material. This may or may not be suitable for your application. Saturation of core could be one of the reasons for less than expected secondary voltage. Since this model does not have any winding resistance, I am not able to think of any other reason. However, it is difficult to comment accurately without actually looking at the actual circuit.
1:25 means 1 turn in primary on above core and 25 turns in secondary. 20:500 would be 20 and 500 turns. 20 turns mean larger magnetizing inductance and thus lower operating B, low magnetizing current. It is just like an actual transformer with more number of turns in the primary winding.
