I am trying to edit SMOKE-Parameters on a part in my project. In this case: Zener-Diode 1n6312us from "\SPB_17.2\tools\capture\library\pspice\advanls\zener.olb".
1) I open the part in Model Editor: RIGHTMOUSECLICK on part -> Edit PSpice Model
-> The model is copied to PROJECTNAME.lib and the SMOKE-Parameters are copied to PROJECTNAME.prp in my project folder
2) I edit the SMOKE-Parameters (TJ, RCA,...) in the Smoke-Tab and save the model.
-> The new SMOKE-Parameters are saved to PROJECTNAME.prp in my project folder
3) I a do a transient analysis, and start the SMOKE-Analysis
-> The Analysis uses the SMOKE-Parameters from the original file ZENER.prp and not the edited parameters in PROJECTNAME.prp!
(Opening the part in the Model Editor again shows the parameters from PROJECTNAME.prp!)
In my opinion this behavior doesn't make sense. Looks like a bug to me.
Am I doing something wrong?

After step #2 - You need to rerun the simulation so that changes in library files can be taken into account. I assume you have not re-run the simulation and hence you do not see the updated model parameters in smoke analysis. In this specific case rerun of SMOKE from Capture - PSpice>Adv Analysis>Smoke may suffice.

I have followed the same steps (but including the simulation in PSpice after the changes of the model) and it works properly in my end. I suppose you did not rerun the analysis in PSpice, but you rerun directly the Smoke Analysis when you modified the values. Could you test again and confirm this issue.

Mmhh, today after a reboot it works as it should.
I am quite sure that I always did a rerun of the transient analysis after editing the SMOKE-parameters...
Anyway, for now, I am happy with it. :-)
