ERROR: Unable to start matlab engine.

Hi,

I am trying to start matlab engine from PSPICE A/D.

I have set the matlab path. But when I am trying to start the matlab engine I am getting error 

ERROR (ORPSIM 101): Unable to start matlab engine. Please try again.

Please help.

Hello,

Which MATLAB version are you using? What is he content inside of the MATLAB Path you are using? Do you have more than one MATLAB installation in your computer?

Thanks for your reply. There were two versions of matlab and I removed one and the problem is sorted now.

That is good to hear, But next time you do not have to uninstall one of the versions. Just open command window and, go to the bin directory of the MATLAB version you want to use and type matlab -regserver and click enter.

Next time you open the co-simulation, it will work.
