Simulation of Noiseless Resistor in PSPICE 16.6

Hi All,

I am trying to do a model conversion between PSpice and LTspice, but I can't make a noiseless resistor in PSpice.
If its possible to simulate a noiseless resistor in LTSpice, then it would be possible on PSpice also.
Does anyone know how to achieve this conversion?

Example in LT: R1 N1 N2 1 noiseless
In PSpice: R1 N1 N2 1 ....????

Regards,
Janayya

Hello Janayya,

The resistors in Analog.lib library of PSpice are noiseless anyways. They should serve the purpose right?

Hi Ronak, thank you for letting me know about it.

If I want to use this resistor as noisy then what should I do? Your suggestions are highly valuable.

Hi Janayya,

Please refer to this document: http://www.ecircuitcenter.com/Circuits/Noise/Noise_Analysis/res_noise.htm

Let me know if that helped.

Also, if you create a new simulation profile, assuming if you're doing AC simulation> Mark the "Noise Analysis" box as enabled> Input the parameters

Hi Ronak, thank you very much!

This is very useful & informative article about noise analysis of resistor.
Thankful for your guidance.
