ERROR(ORPSIM-15108): Subcircuit UA798 used by X_U1A is undefined

I downloaded the trial version of OrCad Pspice. I'm trying to do some simulation using Capture with opamp and transistor but it doesn't work. The error message is:ERROR(ORPSIM-15108): Subcircuit UA798 used by X_U1A is undefined. How can I solve the problem?

I also need LT3080 and LT3081 for simulation. Are they available?

Hi,

It is strange that the simulation does not work, because the component UA798 is included in the default PSpice component. Could you tell me please which version you installed? If you open the simulation profile, which libraries do you have included in Configuration files --> Libraries?

In relation to the components LT3080 and LT3081, they are not avaiable for simulation in the default libraries. So you have to look for them in internet.

regards

Thanks, I've found a solution to the problem. Can you please give me some advice on where I can found LT3080 or LT3081 for simulation??

Hi,

help me, please, solve a problem.

I did with  Create Subcircut Format Netlist PSpice modell for Transformer

.SUBCKT Transfformer2W Pri1 Pri2 Sec1 Sec2

R_Rp1         PRI1 N01732  500 TC=0,0

L_Lp1         N01732 PRI2  100mH

R_Rs1         N01742 SEC1  10 TC=0,0

Kn_K1         L_Lp1 L_Ls1     1

L_Ls1         N01742 SEC2  100mH

.ENDS

I did the Library *.olb with Model Editor

You need to add the LIB file for you sub-circuit to the Simulation Profile, PSpice>Edit Simulation Profile, Configuration Files, Library, use the upper Browse button to locate your LIB file and use the Add to Design button to add your LIB file to the Design Simulation Profile.

Thank you very much for your help!

Everything works perfectly.

Is it possible to make so, that the modells by me could be connected at a stage of creation of the circuit throuth a standart command „to add base“ (Naturally, I will create a OLB library for this model and associate it with the corresponding PSpice model)?
