In which SPB version was the circuit (.DSN file) saved ? If it was saved prior to version 9.2, the you will have to open and save it once in SPB 16.2 and then it can be opened in current SPB versions.

Sir,

i have saved my .DSN file in "C:\Users\Samsung\Documents\Pspice" location.

Do i need to change my current location?

if yes, then where i will choose my new destination?

I mean ,In "C:\Cadence\SPB_16.6" and then?

hi Sourav,

You shoudl be able to open this DSN file directly in 16.6 verison. Location  shoudn't matter unless you don;t have wruite permissions. try moving it to D drive or any other location where you are sure that you have write permision.

Do you get any error while trying to open the design ?

To open a previously saved circuit file in Orcad Capture software, you can do the following steps:
- Open Orcad Capture software: Start Orcad Capture software on your computer.
- Select "Open Project" or "Open Design": In the interface of Orcad Capture, you can find an option to open the previously saved project or circuit design. This option can be located in the toolbar, menu bar, or in the "File" menu.
- Browse and select circuit files: After selecting the "Open Project" or "Open Design" option, a file browsing window will appear. Locate the previously saved circuit file on your computer mapquest directions and select it.
- Open circuit file: After selecting the circuit file, click the "Open" button or similar to open it in Orcad Capture software.

If you are having trouble opening a previously saved Orcad circuit file in Orcad Capture software, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Verify file compatibility: Ensure that the circuit file you are trying to open is compatible with the version of Orcad Capture software you are currently using. Different versions of Orcad may have differences in file formats or features. Check if there are any version mismatches between the file and the software.
File format compatibility: Orcad Capture supports various file formats, including .dsn, .sch, and .dsd. Make sure your circuit file has the correct file extension and is saved in a supported format. If you have multiple versions of the file, try opening each one to determine which is compatible. Rainbow Friends: Chapter 2
