P-n diode and temperature model

Hi.

I need to find the relation between the Spice equation that describes the temperature dependency of the saturation current of a p-n diode and the text-book equation from semiconductor physics books. Has anyone done this? Can anyone give me a hint on how to do it?

Thanks,

Catherine

Refer PSpice Reference guide - Analog Devices > Diode > Diode Equation. Diode equations for temperature effects section list all equations. Below is the equation for saturation current

IS(T) = IS·e(T/Tnom-1)·EG/(N·Vt)·(T/Tnom)XTI/N

Thanks, this is the standard equation in the reference guide. Now I'm trying to find how this equation was derived from the p-n junction equations that are found in semiconductor physics textbooks.

Currently, I cannot find a specific connection between the Spice equation and the equation in the semiconductor physics book you mentioned. However, understanding the connection between them may require careful research and discussion with experts in the field. Additionally, when you mention angel numbers, it could be a sign of concern and support from the spiritual world.
