Pspice for TI DRC Check

Have been using 2021.1 for a few days and it is working well. But am trying to figure out how to run a DRC check. There is a DRC check window at te bottom of the screren that says "Online DRCs" where it lists Severity, DRC Type, etc. But no matter what I do, it is always staying blank. Not sure what "Online DRCs" means. Am wondering if the DRC check capability is suppposed to work in Pspice for TI?

Hi Jim,

Since Pspice for TI is a simulation based tool, user cannot run offline DRC checks in it. However one can check for Online DRC ( as soon as user place part on canvas, on the fly it will check for potential errors described below) while working on simulation projects.

Two online DRC simulation rules which Pspice for TI supports are :-

If you place any part placed on canvas that doesn’t have Pspice model configured with it, then it will show warning upfront which is shown in below snapshot.
If you place any part on canvas whose Pspice model come from a library which is not valid (any part which are not included in Pspice for TI installation), then it shows Online DRC info type error shown below.
