What bugs or annoyances would you like Cadence to fix in PSpice

If you are a long term user or new user to PSpice I'm sure there are issues with the user interface or processes which could be improved.    Please explain the issue, elaborate on the negative effects of the issue (time wasted, errors created) and if possible suggest a solution or better approach.

Hi

Love the new site discovered from the webinar yesterday. thanks! There are quite a few things I would love you to fix but here are a few, not in any order of importance:

(a) When moving a circuit around the schematic area it won't allow the markers to move as well. It would be nice that all aspects of the circuit could be moved around

(b) Have a dB marker as easily accessible on the toolbar. I know you have to set up the ac simulation profile before placing a dB marker, but I'm sure this can be worked around

(c) Why does the ground symbol shortcut disappear after using it once?

(d) Why does the cut and paste not work on digital signals? I know the Vector part does this (ps, I discovered that if you place two or more vector parts on a schematic with the same location and name, it concatenates the two or more signals together- Google "Chaos-based Cryptography for Cloud Computing" a paper I wrote that illustrates where this can be used)

(e) When using cut and paste to copy signals from a trace; have the ability to eliminate the headers and the time vector before copying , e.g., if you just want the voltage/current/digital signal  vectors without any other stuff!

There are lots more when I think of them

Thanks

Paul

Thank You Paul

Appreciate your input. Can you please clarify #3 a bit more? Like under what situation you see this happening and which short cut you are referring.

About #1 - Yes. Today markers do not move while you drag your schematic and it will be useful. However on next simulation run or view simulation result, after drag operation, all markers would jump to their respective nets/pin/parts. One need not pick and place each markers after drag operation.
