I have been working through the "Mixed-signal Simulation with TI-PSpice 2020" workbook. I have come up against an issue I have had a difficult time resolving in the final module. Module 16 "Noise Analysis with PSpice" brings up an error "ERROR(ORPSIM-15113): Model Q2N2222 used by Q_Q1 is undefined". I have tried looking around for a resolution without any meaningful success. If anyone could recommend a resolution or where I may find a resolution to allow for me to complete this module it would be greatly appreciated.

PSpiceforTI doesn't have a lot of discrete transistors in the library that comes with the software. If you have any of the Cadence libraries that come with PSpice A/D the model is in the bipolar.lib file. By the way, where did you pickup that Mixed-signal Simulation workbook?

Module 16 uses four Q2N2222 transistors. When I opened Example.opj with PSpiceforTI I received a warning that the model for these parts isn't in the configured libraries. If you don't have bipolar.lib you can get a 2N2222a model from ON semiconductor and, following the Module 12 example, configure it to use in that circuit to finish Module 16.

I just ran into the same problem working my way through the pspice-for-ti labs.
The 2N2222 symbol shows up but the pspice code for the 2n2222 is undefined.
Has this problem been resolved? If so, what's the best way to solve it?

No, the model of the 2N2222 isn't in their library. As I mentioned before, you can download a PSpice model for a 2N2222A from ON semiconductor.

I tested this on a simple circuit and it worked but not saying it's the best way.
a) Edit the breakout.lib and add the 2N2222A parameters to the Qbreakn model
b) Place a QbreakN part on your schematic for the 2N2222 parts
c) Run the simulation
