Hi, I am attempting to simulate the below circuit but I'm getting some odd voltages. There should -5v across the LM4040.. Any ideas as to what the problem is?
There is an issue with this diode model. If you make a symmetrical circuit with positive and negative rails, the "positive rail" circuit behaves as expected but the "negative rail" circuit does not. There is a post about this on the TI forum and it would seem that, according to the replies, the TINA model was changed at some point but, from these results, the PSpice model was not. You probably need to start a post on the TI forum to request that the PSpice version of the model be updated. The model is encrypted so there isn't any scope for user modification.
