I just built a simulation using Cadence for TI. I am seeing unexpected behavior from the vpulse source. In my instance. the parameters are: V1 = 1.0V, V2 = 0.0V, TD = 0, TR = 1ps, TF = 1ps, PW = 256ms, PER = 512ms. When I probe that signal in the simulation, I see 0.0V for the first 256ms then 1.0V for 256ms. In other words, the signal is inverted. I have verified that the connection to vpulse is on the "+" terminal. I have used Cadence OrCAD/Pspice at work for about 20 years, and I don't recall having this problem. Am I doing something wrong? Or might the problem be with the TI version of Cadence Pspice?

Flip the values of V1 and V2 to get your desired response. Read the description of Vpulse in your PSpice Reference manual and it will clear up this issue.
retiredEE, thank you for your response. It seems that the answer to my question is that I am doing something wrong. I was unable to find an explanation in the PSpice manual. If I interpret V2 to be the pulse voltage though, everything is good. Thanks again.
I think you need to set TD to 256msec. If TD is zero it will transition from the first level to the second immediately upon starting.
What I did not understand at first is that TD (delay) refers to the elapsed time from the beginning of the simulation to the transition from V1 to V2. With that in mind, I have no problem getting the expected behavior.
I would like to mark this question as solved. I do not see how to do that.
Double-check the parameters of the vpulse source to ensure they are set as intended. It looks like you've provided the parameters,
