We are doing simulation in OrCAD PSPICE and we are facing problem with acquiring the results. We are getting "Out of Memory Error", even after using a 16GB memory system. So is it like a compromise between "Memory versus Accuracy". How can I get a waveform without losing any accuracy with the same memory conditions??
The memory error is not a result of the amount of RAM on your system, but a 32bit application OS limit. A 32 bit application can only access 3 GB of RAM and it sounds like you are hitting that limit. Please download the SPB 17.2 version of PSpice which is a 64 bit application and will utilize all available RAM. You can download a copy from

Thanks for the quick repy. I'm using a 64bit windows and PSPICE is using Allegro Design Entry CIS 16.6-S062, Jun 8 2015. Should I still need to update this version to SPB 17.2 ??
Yes, the SPB 16.6 release is a 32-bit application and you will face the OS limit. If you upgrade to SPB 17.2 you will be able to utilize all of the available RAM. Also the SPB 17.2 release will be able to run your 16.6 design without any conversion.
