I have not tested this yet, but if you want to simulate that circuit you will need the PSPICE files for the SG3524. The closest I could find was the SG3525 SPICE models:
STEP 1
Location 1 - For this link, copy and paste the text from the first model text, save it into a .LIB file, then use the PSPICE model importer to create a model library of said .LIB file. You will also need to add the LIB file to your simulation profile in Capture when you are getting ready to simulate.
Location 2 - Download the file in the first post from "Andy F". That should have what you are looking for as well.
STEP 2
You will then create a part/drawing with the proper pin names.
STEP 3
Then associate the SPICE model (.MOD file) with that part (in the .OLB library that houses said part).
STEP 4
Finally, find a Buck converter schematic circuit done in Capture (easy enough to find on YouTube somewhere probably). Hook up the circuit in Capture using switches or IRF540 MOSFETS from the PSpice library in your OrCAD/Allegro software.
STEP 5
Finally, run the simulation and see how it behaves.
